Telehealth Consent

Last updated: October 14, 2026

This Telehealth Consent explains how you receive care through RYNA Health. By completing an intake and requesting a consultation, you agree to receive health care services by telehealth from licensed clinicians in RYNA’s affiliated professional entity (“your Provider”).

1. What telehealth is

Telehealth means receiving health care using technology, such as secure online forms, messaging, video and phone, instead of an in-person visit. Your Provider may review your health information, lab results and photos you share, and may prescribe medication when clinically appropriate.

2. Benefits and limits

Telehealth can make care easier to reach and save travel time. It also has limits: your Provider cannot do a physical exam, and the information you share may not be enough to make a decision. Your Provider may decide that telehealth is not right for you and recommend in-person care.

3. Possible risks

  • Technology problems can delay care or interrupt a visit
  • Decisions depend on the information you provide being complete and accurate
  • Despite strong safeguards, electronic information could be accessed by unauthorized people

4. Your responsibilities

  • Give complete, truthful information about your health, medicines and allergies
  • Follow your Provider’s instructions and tell them about any changes or side effects
  • Keep a primary care clinician for your ongoing health needs
  • Never use telehealth for emergencies — call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room

5. Prescriptions

Prescriptions are issued only if your Provider decides they are medically appropriate. Not everyone qualifies, and your Provider may decline to prescribe, change a dose, or stop treatment based on their clinical judgment.

6. Privacy

Your health information is protected under HIPAA. See our Notice of Privacy Practices.

7. Your rights

Agreeing to telehealth is voluntary. You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing care@rynahealth.com. Withdrawing will not affect your right to future care elsewhere.
